Abhishek Bhatia is the Sr. Manager of EV Strategy & Transformation at Nissan Canada Inc., a position he has held since July 2023.

Reporting directly to the President of Nissan Canada Inc., Bhatia is leading the regional Electrification strategy, the EV Ecosystem development and spearheading the brands' ZEV regulatory strategy. In this role, Bhatia is at the forefront of creating growth-oriented plans for Nissan and INFINITI brands and also, fostering partnerships with key EV industry leaders.  

Before assuming his current position, Bhatia served as the Global lead for M&S Transformation, Global Marketing & Sales at INFINITI MOTOR COMPANY LTD. His responsibilities included leading cross-functional transformational projects, laying the foundational blocks for INFINITI's Global Electrification, loyalty strategy development, and steering market entry strategies.

Bhatia's professional journey spans across continents and numerous automotive brands, including Maruti Suzuki Limited, where he served as Assistant Manager in the Supply Chain Division. His accomplishments include significant cost reductions, strategic vendor management, and pioneering risk mitigation frameworks.

Bhatia is a graduate of the London Business School and The University of Hong Kong, where he earned his Master of Business Administration degree. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree with honors from Delhi College of Engineering, University of Delhi.

Fluent in English and Hindi, he brings a global perspective and a passion for innovation to his role at Nissan Canada Inc., where he continues to shape the future of mobility with his visionary approach.

When he is not busy electrifying the future, Bhatia can be found cheering for his favorite Formula 1 team or planning his next travel adventure.
