Nissan Canada, Inc. (NCI) today reported sales of 6,833 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles in October, an increase of nearly eight per cent over the same month last year.

The Nissan brand accounted for 6,063 unit sales in October, up nearly four per cent year-over-year. Infiniti sales totaled 770 units, an increase of over 60 per cent over October 2007.

Sales for Nissan in October illustrated the continuing popularity of Rogue with 1,082 units sold while Nissan’s flagship Maxima sold 178 units, up 71 per cent from October 2007. Versa continued to lead all Nissan sales with 1,635 units sold last month.

Sales for Infiniti were led by the G with 378 units sold last month, followed by the EX35 with 220 units sold. The FX continued its strong performance with 123 units sold in October, an increase of almost 125 per cent over last year.

NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS
