Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) today released its February sales results with 5,408 units sold – an increase of 21.6 per cent over February 2010, making this February its best ever. Infiniti sales increased 2.3 per cent over the same month last year, while sales of the Nissan brand are up 23.8 per cent over February 2010, also making this the best February sales ever for the Nissan brand.
The Nissan Sentra records its best February since 2004 and is up 57.3 per cent over the same month last year, selling 1,030 units over 655.
The Nissan Armada experiences its best sales month ever with 72 units sold, up 300 per cent from February 2010. In the truck lineup, the Xterra, Pathfinder and Titan also demonstrated year-over-year sales increases, up 175.0, 239.3 and 95.4 per cent respectively from the same month last year. Juke continues to seduce Canadian customers with 300 units sold this month, while the Murano is up 91.4 per cent from February 2010 with 333 units sold. Finally, as the newly-designed Nissan Quest hits the market, it is experiencing great sales numbers, selling 76 units during its first weeks of sales.
G continues to be Infiniti’s top seller with 233 units sold, while the 2011 Infiniti M and QX56 saw year-over-year increases of 123.1 and 281.8 per cent, respectively.

The Nissan Sentra sold 1,030 units playing a large factor in the 23.8 per cent increase in year over year sales for the Nissan brand while the truck lineup also continues to increase in sales, said Allen Childs, President, Nissan Canada Inc. “With the newly-designed Nissan Quest seeing encouraging initial sales, we are excited to leverage this positive forward momentum when we introduce the Infiniti M35 Hybrid and the Nissan LEAF to the lineup this fall.”
