Offering convenient technology and the thrill of all-electric driFving, the 2024 Nissan LEAF builds on more than a decade as the world's first mass-market EV. The 2024 Nissan LEAF is on sale now with a choice of SV and SV PLUS grades, with a starting Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)² of CA$41,748. LEAF was recently updated for the 2023 model year with a refreshed exterior design, including an enhanced front grille, bumper molding and headlights, plus interior upholstery changes and a new 17-inch wheel design for SV and SV PLUS.

Two efficient powertrains

The 2024 Nissan LEAF offers a pair of responsive, efficient electric powertrain options.

Using the Quick Charge Port, the LEAF SV can be charged up to 80 percent in 40 minutes with a 50kW quick charge, while the LEAF SV PLUS can be charged up to 80 percent in 45 minutes with the higher output quick charge port of 100kW. LEAF comes standard with a portable charging cable allowing for connection to a standard 120-volt or any 240-volt outlet, for convenient charging options.

The advanced electric powertrain offers a convenient, one-pedal driving experience with standard e‑Pedal³. When enabled, drivers can start, accelerate, slow down and come to a full stop using only the accelerator pedal.

Connectivity at your fingertips

LEAF keeps occupants connected and informed with a NissanConnect® infotainment system with an 8-inch colour display, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, SiriusXM® and four USB ports. EV-specific functions include a charging timer, allowing the driver to set their desired charging time for the vehicle, and a HVAC timer, allowing for pre-heating or pre-cooling the cabin.

Standard on the 2024 LEAF, the system is upgraded with Nissan Door-to-Door Navigation as well as NissanConnect EV & Services®Opens in a new tab. telematics 3 year Premium package trial, extended from the previous 6 month offering, giving owners even more control of their LEAF through a smartphone app. The app provides owners the opportunity to check or chang charging settings, plan their route, access emergency services inside the vehicle, and more.

Technology for every drive

Every LEAF has standard Nissan Safety Shield® 360Opens in a new tab., a suite of six active driver assistance technologies including Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, High Beam Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Rear Automatic Braking. LEAF also includes standard Intelligent Lane Intervention, Blind Spot Intervention and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning.

Additional standard driver assistance and convenience features include Rear Door Alert and rear parking sensors. Also, Intelligent Driver Alertness, Intelligent AroundView® MonitorOpens in a new tab. and ProPILOT Assist, which combines Steering Assist with Intelligent Cruise Control for additional assistance during highway driving.

Two well-equipped models

The 2024 Nissan LEAF is offered in a streamlined choice of two grade levels that provide great value to customers seeking an electric vehicle. LEAF SV is well-equipped with standard Nissan Safety Shield 360, Intelligent Key with push-button start, NissanConnect® infotainment system with 8-inch display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM radio, four USB ports (two front, two rear), automatic climate control, rear parking sensors and 16-inch wheels.

The SV and SV PLUS also include ProPILOT Assist, an electric parking brake, LED headlights and daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, an eight-way powered driver's seat, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, heated outside mirrors and a hybrid heater. Additionally, both trims include Nissan Door-to-Door Navigation, NissanConnect EV & Services telematics, a six-speaker audio system, Intelligent AroundView Monitor and Intelligent Driver Alertness.

LEAF SV features a 40-kWh lithium-ion battery and an EPA-estimated range of up to 240 kilometres². LEAF SV PLUS has a 60-kWh battery with up to 342 kilometres of range.

Every 2024 Nissan LEAF is offered with a limited lithium-ion battery warranty⁴ covering defects in materials or workmanship for eight years or 160,000 kilometres, whichever comes first, for the battery pack. Nissan also provides a limited warranty against battery capacity loss below nine bars of capacity as shown on the vehicle's battery capacity level gauge for the first eight years or 160,000 kilometres for all models.
