MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – The Nissan Altima is the midsize sedan for drivers seeking a connected, confident and dynamic experience.

Altima gives customers a diverse choice of configurations, offering two available engines, each equipped with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. The 2024 model range consists of four well-equipped grades: S, SR, SR Premium, and Platinum.

Following a comprehensive makeover for the 2023 model year, the 2024 Nissan Altima is on sale now with a starting Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)⁴ of $31,598. (See full pricing details for all 2024 Altima grades.)

Altima is available advanced 2.5-litre DOHC inline 4-cylinder direct-injection engine is rated at 182 hp and 178 lb-ft in versions equipped with AWD.

Smoothly optimizing power delivery and efficiency for both engines is a standard Xtronic transmission. Paddle shifters on Altima SR allow enthusiastic owners to further engage with the driving experience.

Advanced driver assistance and intuitive technology

A standout Altima technology for more relaxed highway driving is ProPILOT Assist¹. Standard on Altima SR, ProPILOT Assist blends steering assistance with Intelligent Cruise Control, helping the driver stay in the center of the driving lane while maintaining a preset speed and preset distance to the preceding vehicle. ProPILOT Assist can also slow the vehicle to a complete stop and hold the vehicle during traffic jam conditions.

Altima's intuitive yet powerful infotainment systems keep the driver connected and informed. Altima has a standard 7-inch Advanced Drive-Assist® Display⁸ providing key vehicle information in the driver's eyeline. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system (Altima SR and higher) features Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay® and SiriusXM® (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately).

An available 12.3-inch HD colour display with multi-touch control (standard on Altima SR Premium optional on SR and SR Premium) upgrades to wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Nissan Door-to-Door Navigation system, a wireless phone charging pad and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The system features crisp, high-resolution graphics and a customizable home screen with shortcuts to user favourites and one-line destination search.

For 2024, available NissanConnect® Services Premium package now includes a three-year trial (up from a six-month trial previously). The telematics feature is standard on SR with Premium package and Platinum grade, and works with the MyNISSAN smartphone app. On equipped vehicles, features include remote door lock/unlock, remote engine start/stop, vehicle health report, emergency calling and more.

Altima also has an available Bose® Premium Audio system with nine speakers, available Active Noise Cancellation, plus Amazon Alexa to help customers simplify and organize their lives using just voice commands.

Confidence and peace of mind

Intelligent All-Wheel Drive² helps Altima provide added traction and driver confidence on varying road surfaces and through varying weather conditions. Standard on all grades, the system automatically distributes engine torque to the wheels according to driving conditions – ranging from a 100/0 front/rear split to up to 50/50.

Standard on all Altima grades, it includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and High Beam Assist. Also standard on all grades is class-exclusive Intelligent Forward Collision Warning⁹ and Intelligent Driver Alertness¹⁰.

Altima Platinum adds two additional technologies. The Nissan Altima was restyled for the 2023 model year with an updated expression of Nissan's V-motion grille, newly standard LED headlights, new aluminum-alloy wheel designs, revised instrument panel finishings and two new exterior paint colours.

Altima's impressive complement of available technology includes a 12.3-inch HD colour touchscreen that features wireless Apple CarPlay®, wireless Android Auto™, Nissan Door to Door Navigation system, a wireless phone charging pad and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
