Powered by Nissan’s proven 5.6-litre Endurance ® V8 engine, the 2022 Armada features best-in-class² standard 400 horsepower and best-in-class³ standard 8,500 lbs. maximum towing capacity – burnishing the 8-passenger Armada’s reputation as a true family adventure-ready vehicle for everyday and weekend use.

Standard technology found on every 2022 Armada includes a largest-in-class⁴ NissanConnect ® 12.3-inch colour touchscreen display, NissanConnect ® with Wi-Fi Hotspot, and wireless Apple CarPlay ® integration.

Standard safety technologies include Nissan Safety Shield ® 360, along with Intelligent Lane Intervention, Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and Intelligent Back-up Intervention. An aggressive, chiseled exterior design

Armada’s rugged yet refined exterior matches its performance capabilities. Its squared and chiseled appearance includes massive front fenders, signature Nissan grille and large LED headlights with more than 50 LEDs in each headlamp to help create a wide, bright headlight pattern. Rear combination lights have 70 LEDs in each light, helping provide a highly visible, modern appearance.

Key features include body-colour overfenders, dark-painted roof rails (220-lb weight rating), and an acoustic windshield and front side windows to help reduce noise. A large sliding moonroof with front tilt and rear slide is standard.

The unique Midnight Edition Package, offered on SL grade, exterior includes black exterior logos, black painted mirrors, black painted roof rails, rear LED lamps with black paint finisher, black painted grille, and black painted front and rear skid plates and 2^nd row captain’s chairs (7 seats).

Five exterior colours are available: Hermosa Blue Pearl, Gun Metallic, Super Black, Aspen White TriCoat and Coulis Red Pearl.

Premium interior with seating for eight

The 2022 Armada’s refined interior combines style, roominess and premium comfort – with a special emphasis on quietness and easy-to-use connectivity features.

Family adventures and everyday errands are more enjoyable thanks to the 8-passenger Armada interior that offers 40.0 inches of 2nd row headroom and 41.0 inches of 2nd row legroom. Armada SL and Platinum grades are also available with optional 2nd row captain’s chairs and a removable 2nd row console.

The standard seating configuration includes front heated 10-way power-adjustable bucket seats with a large center console, 2nd row fold flat 60/40 split bench seat and 3rd row 60/40- split folding bench seat with one-touch power reclining and folding, which allows for extra cargo carrying flexibility. Heated 2nd row seats are standard on Platinum, along with climate-controlled (heating and cooling) front seats and heated steering wheel.

Armada’s Dual-Zone Automatic Temperature Control system (with microfilter) uses direct/indirect airflow, including a 2nd row “curtain” vent to effectively distribute cool air to every seat.

Utility is another area where Armada delivers, with a highly functional front center console that can be opened/closed from the front and rear. A removable tray holds small items, while a deep well is available for larger ones. A 120-volt outlet with 400-watt capacity is standard, allowing users to easily power a wide variety of indoor and outdoor accessories.

Two seating materials are available: leather- appointed (SL) and quilted leather-appointed (Platinum). Five interior colours are offered: Charcoal, Almond, Brown, Black and Midnight Edition Black.

Technology for all

The standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, the largest in class⁴, features a high-resolution display that provides clear images and crisp graphics. The customizable home screen includes shortcuts to user favorites and one-line destination search. Every Armada also features a 7.0-inch Advanced Driver Assist Display, with full colour, high resolution for enhanced visibility. Quick operation and access of multiple information screens is available through the steering wheel.

Standard smartphone connectivity includes wireless Apple CarPlay ® integration and wired Android Auto ™. The Standard wireless smartphone charging starts immediately when the phone is laid down, and a charging indicator shows charging status. Every 2022 Armada can also update map data and software, which can be executed over-the-air via the vehicle’s built-in connectivity or by connecting your Nissan to your password-protected home Wi-Fi network⁷.

Armada Platinum includes a standard Intelligent Rear View Mirror⁶, which uses a high- resolution camera mounted on the rear of the vehicle to project a clear image onto an LCD monitor built into the standard rearview mirror, helping improve visibility and provide an expanded field of view.

Every 2022 Armada also includes standard Nissan Door-to-Door Navigation⁷ with SiriusXM ® Traffic and Travel Link (with three-month complimentary trial access), NissanConnect ® Services powered by SiriusXM ® telematics (with 5-year Select and Plus and 6-month Premium complimentary trial access), SiriusXM ® Radio (subscription required, sold separately), enhanced Voice Recognition and Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant⁹. The Bose ® audio system features AM/FM/SXM/MP3 with 13 speakers, subwoofer and digital amplifier to provide rich and realistic sound reproduction.

NissanConnect ® Services can be accessed from inside the vehicle, on a computer, on a smartphone or smartwatch app. Armada Platinum also adds a Family Entertainment System with dual 8.0- inch head restraint monitors and HDMI input. It includes two pairs of wireless headphones.

Armada’s long list of comfort and convenience features includes standard power tilt/telescoping steering column with memory, HomeLink ® Universal Transceiver and Remote Engine Start System¹⁰.

Best-in-class standard 400 horsepower and 8,500-lb towing capacity

The 2022 Armada again features rugged body-on-frame construction, providing the foundation for its outstanding balance of strength, durability and utility.

Starting with a durable, heavy-duty ladder frame, Armada features a proven 5.6-liter Endurance ® V8 with best-in-class² standard 400 horsepower (at 5,200 rpm). Torque is rated at 413 lb-ft (at 4,000 rpm).

As part of its adventure-ready spirit, the 2022 Armada also offers a best-in-class standard maximum towing capacity³ of up to 8,500 pounds (when properly equipped).

Trailer Brake Controller with tow hitch receiver and Trailer Sway Control is standard on SL and Platinum grades. When the vehicle system senses sway, Trailer Sway Control automatically applies the brakes and the vehicle is slowed to eliminate the sway for a more confident towing experience.

The standard, advanced 7-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control and Downshift Rev Matching helps enhance fuel efficiency through use of its wide gear ratios, automatic transmission fluid warmer and adoption of idle neutral control. A 98.3L fuel tank provides ample driving range.

Every 2022 Armada is standard with Nissan’s advanced Auto 4WD system, which features Auto/4HI/4LO modes, electronically controlled part-time transfer case and 2.70:1 4LO gear ratio.

Under normal driving conditions, the system operates in 2WD drive mode, but it can distribute torque to all four wheels when road conditions warrant (up to 50 percent of torque can go to the front wheels on demand).

A responsive 4-wheel disc brake system is complemented with Anti-lock Braking, Electronic Brake Force Distribution and Brake Assist.

Additionally, Armada offers standard Hill Start Assist, 4-wheel limited-slip and a Vehicle Dynamic Control system (which includes a deactivation switch). Steering is provided by an engine-speed-sensitive power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering system.

Armada’s durable independent double-wishbone front and rear suspension provides smooth ride comfort and responsive handling for both on-road and off-road driving. Twin-tube shock absorbers are featured on each corner.

Advanced safety technology, security features and driving aids

Armada’s purposeful safety features allow peace of mind for an adventurous family road trip or a simple drive to the market – and everything in between. Nissan Safety Shield ® 360 is standard on all grades. It includes Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Intelligent Rear Emergency Braking.

Also standard are Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Cruise Control (Full Speed Range), Intelligent Lane Intervention, Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention, RearView Monitor and Intelligent Driver Alertness. Armada Platinum includes class-exclusive Intelligent Backup Collision Intervention.
