Nissan Canada Inc. Reports Sales Results for September

Nissan Canada, Inc. (NCI) today reported sales of 7,400 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles in September, an increase of more than 15 per cent over the same month last year.

The Nissan brand accounted for 6,654 unit sales in September, up nearly 12 per cent year-over-year. Infiniti sales totaled 746 units, an increase of over 58 per cent over September 2007.

Sales for Nissan in September illustrated the continuing popularity of Rogue with 995 units sold, marking its one-year anniversary in the Canadian market. September was also a strong month for Nissan’s flagship 4-door sports car with 214 Maxima units sold, up 78 per cent from 2007. Versa continued to lead all Nissan sales with 1,608 units sold last month while the 350Z sold 54 units, up over 237 per cent year-over-year.   

Sales for Infiniti were led by the G with 421 units sold last month, up just over 16 per cent from 2007. The EX35 continued its strong performance with 217 units sold in September.

NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS

  • Infiniti G led sales for the brand with 421 units in September
  • EX35 sales totaled 217 units

NCI HIGHLIGHTS

  • NCI sold 7,400 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles combined last month, an increase of over 15 per cent over same month last year
