Just like the introduction of the award winning Xterra in 2000, Nissan has raised the bar for all compact sport utility vehicles again with the introduction of the 2002 Xterra. The 2002 model features a dramatic restyling of the front end, a supercharged V6 engine option (the first in the compact SUV class) and a revised interior with a new instrument panel.
