MISSISSAUGA, ONT. – Today, the Nissan Group announced total Canadian sales of 7,431 units for December 2019, a decrease of 21.7 per cent year-over-year. The Nissan Group reported calendar year sales of 134,729 total Canadian sales in 2019, a decrease of 9.6 per cent over 2018.
December highlight:
- The Kicks compact crossover set a December record with sales of 1,082 units, an increase of 207.4 per cent year-over-year.
Nissan Division 2019 calendar year highlights:
- Nissan set calendar-year sales records in 2019 for the Kicks compact crossover and NV200 compact cargo van.
- In 2019, Nissan Canada’s top-three selling models included the Rogue, Qashqai and Kicks with sales of 37,530, 18,526, and 16,086, respectively.
- The Kicks compact crossover reported sales of 16,086 units sold in its first full year of sales.
- Sales of the Nissan Micra increased 18.4 per cent in 2019 with total Canadian sales of 6,361 units.
INFINITI Division December & 2019 highlights:
- The Infiniti Division reported total Canadian sales of 664 units in December 2019 and total calendar year sales of 10,974 units.
- The QX50 luxury crossover set a calendar year sales record with 3,515 total units sold in 2019, an increase of 22 per cent from 2018.
