MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – The sixth and final edition of the 2021 Sentra Cup Magazine is out now, following races 11 and 12 at the Mont-Tremblant circuit in Quebec this past weekend. The magazine includes exclusive interviews with Steve Milette, President of Nissan Canada, and 2021 Sentra Cup Champion Kevin King, and features highlights from the action-packed final races of the season.

In his interview, Milette shares why Nissan Canada was committed to hosting the Sentra Cup in 2021, recognizing the passion and excitement shared by drivers on and off the track as they returned for a 12-race season. The interview also touches on why the Nissan Sentra is the perfect model for this introductory racing series due to its quality and durability, and how it plays a key role in supporting Nissan in attracting new drivers from all over the world to motorsport.

The final race weekend saw King, Jesse Lazare and Simon Charbonneau battle it out for first place on Saturday, with King taking the victory just six tenths of a second ahead of Lazare. On Sunday, Alexandre Fortin came in first place, with King arriving home in fourth, allowing him to claim the 2021 title in his Nissan Sentra of the Gabriel Nissan / L&P Apparel team. In the issue, King shares his excitement surrounding his return to the track, noting he immediately felt at ease due to the control of the Sentra despite little training time, claiming it’s an extremely fun car to drive.

This past weekend at the Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Québec marked the final race event in what proved to be a highly successful 2021 season of the first-ever Nissan Sentra Cup.
