MISSISSAUGA, ON( – The all-new 2013 Nissan Altima embarks on a cross-Canada tour next week, putting Canadians behind the wheel of the most engaging, innovative and stylish vehicle in the mid-size sedan segment. The Nissan NEXT Innovation Driving Tour kicks off in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on June 4th, stopping in 12 cities before wrapping up in Vancouver at the end of summer.
The interactive display and test drive provides visitors with the opportunity to learn more about and experience the extensive innovations offered in the all-new 2013 Nissan Altima. With best in class* fuel economy figures of 5.0 l/100km highway, an enhanced driving experience and next-generation technology, the Nissan Altima is a "class-above" mid-size sedan.

The top-selling Japanese midsize nameplate in Canada for the past two years, this fifth generation Nissan Altima is poised to become the new benchmark in the hotly contested segment, all with a lower starting MSRP than the outgoing entry 2012 CVT model at just $23,698.

About the 2013 Altima Sedan
The Nissan Altima has come a long way in the 20 years since it was first introduced. Now, with the arrival in summer 2012 of the all-new fifth generation design, Nissan promises to shake up the mid-size sedan segment again with the most engaging, purposeful and energetic vehicle in its class.
Among the 2013 Altima's many attributes are a best-in-segment* fuel economy of 5.0 litre/100 km highway (2.5-litre engine), new premium exterior styling with a strong presence and excellent aerodynamics, an upscale interior with premium materials, and an outstanding balance of ride comfort, stability and a fun-to-drive demeanour with projected best-level acceleration.

Dynamic performance is provided by a choice of a redesigned 182-horsepower 2.5-litre DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine or a proven 270-horsepower 3.5-litre V6, with both engines matched with standard Xtronic CVT®. Altima's next-generation CVT reflects Nissan's more than 20 years of engineering and development leadership with its smooth, fuel-efficient design.
