Mississauga, Ont. – Nissan Group announced total Canadian first quarter (January-March) sales for the calendar year 2021 of 25,082 units, an increase of 27.6 per cent versus the prior year.
The INFINITI Division reported total Canadian sales of 1,500 vehicles sold in the first quarter of 2021, an increase of 4.5% year over year.
Nissan Division highlights:
- The Nissan Rogue crossover remained Nissan Canada's best-selling vehicle with 9,218 units sold, a 67.1 per cent increase year-over-year.
- With a best month ever in March, the Nissan Kicks compact crossover recorded a total of 4,423 units sold in the first quarter, an increase of 66 per cent year-over-year.
- Nissan Sentra sales rose to 2,245 units in the first quarter, up 92.9 per cent from the previous year.
INFINITI highlights:
- The QX80 luxury SUV recorded 257 units sold, an increase of 77.2 per cent since the previous year.
- The QX60 luxury crossover SUV recorded 406 units sold, an increase of 19.4 per cent.
- The Q60 sports coupe sold 75 units, marking an increase of 7.1 per cent year-over-year.
