Mississauga, Ont. – Nissan Group announced total Canadian first-quarter (January-March) sales for the calendar year 2023 of 20,470 units, a decrease of 7 percent versus the prior year.
The INFINITI Division reported total Canadian sales of 1,628 units sold between January-March 2023, an increase of 10.7 percent versus the prior year.
Nissan Division first-quarter 2023 highlights:
- Launched in January, the all-new Nissan ARIYA EV made a strong start to the year with 436 units sold this quarter.
- Sales of the Nissan Rogue were up 27.3 percent in the first quarter with a total of 5,918 units sold.
- Nissan Pathfinder saw a rise in sales of 116.2 percent with 1,859 units sold between January-March.
- Nissan Murano sales rose 85.2 percent with 1,622 units sold.
- The Nissan LEAF recorded an increase of 27.7 percent selling 452 units this quarter.
INFINITI first-quarter 2023 highlights:
- The total INFINITI Division saw a 10.7 percent increase in sales during CY23Q1 compared to CY22Q1.
- Sales of the QX60 were up 47.2 percent in the first quarter with 870 units sold.
- The QX80 luxury crossover recorded an increase of 129.5 percent selling 202 units this quarter.
