Montreal, Qc. /Mississauga, Ont. – Two new, long-awaited Nissan models were unveiled in Canada on press day at the 77th Montreal International Auto Show (MIAS), the all-new Sentra compact sedan and the new 2020 TITAN full-size pickup truck.

"The next 20 months will see the arrival of 10 new products. That influx of new Nissan vehicles starts today with the official Canadian launch of the all-new 2020 Sentra," says  Steve Milette, president of Nissan Canada. "Sentra is Nissan's all-time best-selling vehicle in Canada, and we believe the 2020 Sentra will impress show goers with its standout design, refinement and quality, technology and performance not seen before."

The 2020 Sentra has a striking all-new exterior design, a comprehensive suite of intelligent driving technologies, including Nissan Safety Shield 360 fitted as standard, advanced connectivity functions and confident driving performance from the new platform and engine. 

Nissan announces Canadian pricing for the all-new 2020 Nissan Sentra

During its press conference at the MIAS, Nissan revealed full Canadian pricing for the all-new 2020 Sentra, which will go on sale in February at Nissan dealerships across the country. The base model S, with a 6-speed manual transmission, has a starting M.S.R.P. of $18,788 CAD1.

The 2020 Sentra is available in a simplified lineup with five versions and no options: S, S Plus, SV, SR and SR Premium.

The Sentra S features 16-inch steel rims with full covers, intelligent cornering control, intelligent suspension control, Safety Shield 360, Rear Door Alert, remote keyless entry, push-button start, center console with storage and much more. The Sentra S Plus is equipped with the Xtronic transmission, heated exterior mirrors and heated front seats.

The Sentra SV goes one step further with the addition of the following: 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and 205/60R16 all-season tires, NissanConnect featuring Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, 8-inch colour display with six-speaker audio system and multi-touch control, remote engine start2, dual zone automatic temperature control, Intelligent Cruise Control, high-quality cloth interior and more.

The Sentra SR sport includes 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 215/45R18 all-season tires, power sliding glass moonroof, dark chrome V-motion grille, LED headlights with LED Daytime Running lights, LED fog lights, sport cloth interior with orange stitching, rear spoiler and lower body side sill extensions.

The SR Premium version comes with: thin-type LED headlights with signature design, Intelligent Around View® monitor, leatherette seats, auto-dimming rearview mirror, six-way power driver's seat with two-way lumbar support, sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors and top-of-the-range eight-speaker Bose® audio system.

Nissan introduces the new 2020 TITAN

The Nissan TITAN has been redesigned for the 2020 model year to offer a bold, new look. The refined interior features a first-class layout, including a new panoramic sunroof and the largest standard touchscreen in its class.

The new 2020 TITAN boasts a significantly improved powertrain and is available in different versions with a unique styling. The TITAN is powered by a slick 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine rated at 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque, and is paired with an all-new 9-speed automatic transmission. 

Nissan Safety Shield 360 technology and the class-exclusive Rear Intelligent Emergency Braking system2 are available as standard across the entire 2020 TITAN lineup.

The Nissan Micra Cup returns to the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal from June 12–14, 2020

The Nissan Micra Cup will return to Quebec and Ontario next spring for a sixth consecutive season.

Following its first appearance in 2015, J.D. Promotion, Nissan Micra Cup promoter, is proud to announce the return of the Nissan Micra Cup to the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada, which will take place at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal from June 12–14, 2020.

12 races will take place across six events. Furthermore, the 2020 season could see a record number of drivers registered to take part in the Nissan Micra Cup, thanks to an increase in entries at the end of the 2019 season and with new entries already looking strong.
