For 2020, the Rogue, Nissan Canada's best-selling vehicle consecutively since 2012¹, continues to embody Nissan Intelligent Mobility – Nissan's commitment to reinventing every part of the drive with advanced driver assistance systems. Available technology includes ProPILOT Assist², Nissan Safety Shield 360 and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.

Rogue also offers a highly desirable combination of compact overall size and ample interior roominess – along with features such as Rear Door Alert (RDA)³, the innovative Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System and available Motion-Activated Liftgate – making Rogue the perfect vehicle for everyday use and family adventure getaways.

Advanced ProPILOT Assist and Nissan Safety Shield 360

Introduced in the 2018 Rogue, the ProPILOT Assist² system can help ease driver workload by reducing the amount of driver acceleration, steering and braking input under certain driving conditions.

Tuned specifically for Canadian roads, ProPILOT Assist is intuitive and user-friendly. It can potentially help lessen driver fatigue and create a more confident driving experience – especially for drivers who experience heavy highway traffic on a daily basis. The driver's input always takes priority, overriding the system when the steering wheel is turned or the turn signal is operated (steering assistance goes into a temporary standby mode). For 2020, ProPILOT Assist is standard on the SL Platinum grade and optional on Rogue SV.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 – which features Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Intelligent Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), radar-based Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and High Beam Assist (HBA) – is optional on Rogue SV and standard on SL Platinum grades.

Another innovative driver assistance technology, which is standard on all 2020 Rogue models, is the Rear Door Alert² (RDA) system. Rear Door Alert can help remind customers of items that may be forgotten in the rear seat – valuables, dry cleaning, groceries and more. If the system detects that a rear door was opened/closed prior to a trip, but then was not re-opened again after the trip was completed, given the vehicle was put in park and the ignition cycled off, the system responds with a series of notifications, starting with a display in the instrument panel and progressing to subtle but distinctive chirps of the horn.

Also offered as available on the 2020 Rogue are Intelligent Around View® Monitor (I-AVM) with Moving Object Detection, , and Intelligent Lane Intervention (I-LI).

Refined exterior design and premium-look interior

The 2020 Rogue again offers progressive, emotive styling. The Nissan signature "V-Motion" grille and headlights with LED signature Daytime Running Lights help enhance Rogue's robust, dynamic presence. Halogen headlights with auto off function are standard. Intelligent Auto Headlights (I-AH) is standard on SV. Also available are LED headlights with auto on/off function, High Beam Assist (HBA) and fog lights. In the rear are combination lamps with LED boomerang signature taillights. Other Rogue exterior highlights include body-colour heated outside mirrors with integrated turn signals, a rear spoiler, available privacy glass and available roof rails. Rogue's available power panoramic moonroof offers a wide view of the outside world through its extended length. The front glass panel slides and tilts, while the rear glass panel is fixed. When in the open position, the front panel slides under the fixed second panel. Rogue has a coefficient of drag of 0.33. Rogue SL includes standard aggressive 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, with 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels available on SV models, rounding out the upscale look.

The 2020 Rogue is offered in six exterior colours: Gun Metallic; Magnetic Black Pearl; Pearl White TriCoat (premium colour); Glacier White; Caspian Blue Metallic, and Scarlet Ember TriCoat (premium colour).

Inside, Rogue offers a premium look and feel throughout. Every 2020 Rogue features NissanConnect® featuring Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, with a 7.0-inch colour touch-screen display. NissanConnect with Navigation is optional on Rogue SV, while Rogue SL models offer standard NissanConnect with Navigation and Services powered by SiriusXM® (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately).

Among the interior features are a D-shaped steering wheel and available leather-booted sport-mode shifter, available heated steering wheel (), available memory for driver's seat and mirrors, and available Remote Engine Start (RES) system⁴, which provides flexibility to start the Rogue remotely using the keyless entry fob.

Every seat except the driver's easily folds down. The front passenger seat folds rearwards, allowing transport of long items such as an 8-foot ladder when combined with the flat folding 40/20/40-split 2nd row seat. The front bucket seats are a special Zero Gravity design. The driver's seat is 6-way adjustable, with available power adjustment including lumbar support, while the front passenger seat is 4-way adjustable and 4-way power on SL Platinum. The standard Quick Comfort™ heated front seats are designed to immediately begin warming the body parts most sensitive to heat, such as the thighs and hips.
Leather-appointed seats are standard on SL models. Three interior colours are offered: Charcoal Almond and Tan (on Platinum Reserve Interior) and.

Rogue also offers an innovative Divide-N-Hide® Cargo System that provides 18 adjustable variations between the cargo and occupant areas. Standard interior features include SiriusXM® Satellite Radio (SiriusXM® subscription required, sold separately), 5.0-inch center metre colour display (Advanced Driver Assist™ Display), 4-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system with auxiliary audio input jack, USB connection port for iPod® interface and other compatible devices, Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, RearView Monitor, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth® and Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant (compatible smartphone required). Also available are dual-zone automatic air conditioning and Bose® audio system with nine speakers.

Standard 170-horsepower 2.5-litre engine

All 2020 Rogue models are equipped with a responsive 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine rated at 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft or torque. The engine is matched with an advanced Xtronic transmission with standard Sport Mode and Eco switches. Fuel economy⁵ is rated at 9.1 L/100 km city, 7.1 L/100 km highway and 8.2 L/100 km combined for front-wheel drive models. Rogue AWD models are rated at 9.6 L/100 km city, 7.5 L/100 km highway and 8.7 L/100 km combined.

The 2020 Rogue features Nissan's suite of confidence-inspiring dynamic technologies with Intelligent Trace Control (I-TC), Intelligent Engine Braking (I-EB) and Intelligent Ride Control (I- RC). Rogue also offers standard 4-wheel independent suspension, Electric Power-assisted Steering, 4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with Traction Control System (TCS) and Hill Start Assist. Four wheel and tire combinations are offered, depending on grade. For 2020, SL Platinum grade comes with standard 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/55R19 all-season tires. Rogue SV features 17- inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/65R17 all-season tires or optional 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/60R18 all-season tires. Rogue S comes with 17-inch steel or optional 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/65R17 all-season tires. Every Rogue also offers a standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) with position monitoring and Nissan's innovative Easy Fill Tire Alert.

Rogue is available with a choice of front-wheel drive or an Intelligent All-Wheel Drive6 system, which can respond and adapt to changing conditions 30 times faster than the blink of an eye. Intelligent AWD initially delivers power to both front and rear wheels for improved grip. Once the vehicle is up to speed, the system sends all of the power up front (100:0 ratio), resulting in higher efficiency. In slick conditions and tight corners, Intelligent AWD automatically transfers the optimal amount of power from front to rear, up to a mix of 50:50 distribution ratio.

A range of three well-equipped Rogue models

The 2020 Nissan Rogue comes in three well-equipped models – S, SV and SL Platinum, in a choice of front-wheel (S model only) or all-wheel drive.

Along with the long list of standard features found on Rogue S, the Rogue Special Edition offers: 17" Aluminum Alloy wheels; privacy glass; roof rails; chrome exterior door handles; heated leather steering wheel; leather wrapped shift knob; dual-zone auto temperature control and a Special Edition Badge. 

The Rogue SV adds  Nissan Intelligent Key™ with Push Button Ignition, 8-way power driver's seat including power driver's seat lumbar support.  The Rogue SV also includes two additional audio system speakers (six total), roof rails (on the special edition), fog lights, Remote Engine Start⁴, dual illuminated visor vanity mirrors, , High Beam Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Intelligent Cruise Control, Intelligent Lane Intervention, and Intelligent Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection.
